Abstract

Ramesh Kumar is known as a special and versatile poet in contemporary Punjabi poetry of Haryana. Ramesh Kumar’s poems have a combination of nature, human and artistic beauty. Sympathy for the oppressed and concerned about their future, desire for peace and unity at the international level, correct response to the events and movements taking place in the country and abroad, sharp eye on national-international socio-political situations, deep respect for man, values, faith and aesthetic consciousness result in his poetry communicating directly with real life. After studying the poems, keeping in mind the new meanings and linguistic beauty present in his poems, the main objective of this research paper is to conduct a stylistic study of his poems. Through stylistic study, several paradigms have been constructed to understand and judge Ramesh Kumar's poems, including selection, variation, parallelism and sparseness. After studying and evaluating Ramesh Kumar's poems with their help, it emerges that Ramesh Kumar's poems prove to be unique and important on the basis of style. His poems will serve as a source of inspiration for future generations.
