Abstract

Baba Banda Singh Bahadur was very brave, fearless and capable leader who encountered Mughal oppressions with firmness and confidence. According to order of Guru Gobind Singh, he gathered Khalsa and established rule of Khalsa in Punjab. He once again proved that still Punjabi Hindu –Sikhs have Courage and Power to raise sword against oppressions. He was great warrior of his time. During his eight years military life, he got military achievements and successes in the battle field. By adopting the path of Banda Bahadur, Sikhs attain freedom and had established an independent Sikh State. Banda Singh Bahadur and his followers became an example for Sikhs. My paper deals the Sikhs uprising under Baba Banda Singh Bahadur in Haryana.
