Abstract

This study seeks to determine the difference in the risk perception tendency of male and female students of the post-graduation towards online shopping. Based on the literature studies, seven dimensions of perceived risks associated with online shopping have been undertaken. The results of the study suggest that female respondents tend to perceive more risk towards online shopping as compared to male respondents of the study with exception to information risk associated with online shopping. The given study may motivate managers to take into account the students concern while framing strategies for online shopping.
